This 'n' That

It's been one of those chaotic weeks this last week. I had to run family up to the airport. Middle daughter got a flat tyre at the airport. Youngest daughter needed a lift to Universtiy in Ormskirk, and then I had to revisit the airport to collect family on their return home, as well as running the wife to physio.



The family have been spread around this last week or so.
The Phillips family have spent a few days at Windsor, and the main attraction for Tom was a visit to Legoland. I gather he has spent a fortune on technical lego whilst there! I think Eton school was "out of bounds" due to the fact that a case of swine flu had been reported there, but a visit was made to Windsor Castle.

Greg and Olivia flew to Barcelona in Spain, then drove through southern France - not too far from Perpignon to a Hippocampe. - not a camp for hippopotamuses (or is it Hippopotami?), but a camp for holiday makers. The weather was superb except for one rainy day- mainly in the eighties, and they have returned home a much darker colour than before they left! They have raced go carts, been swimming in then sea, exploring the neighbourhood and had a whole host of sea side fun and adventures.

Today Sarah and Hannah have been accompanying the children from the local primary school to Sundown, which is an adventure playground, for the under tens, near Rampton. It contains, amongst other delights:-

THE STORY BOOK VILLAGE, A BOOZY BARREL BOAT RIDE, THE CAPTAIN SANDY’S PLAY COVE, ROCKY MOUNTAIN RAILROAD, SUNDOWN’S MARKET SQUARE, A PET SHOP, THE WITCHES KITCHEN, MOUSE’S TALES, SANTA'S ALL YEAR SLEIGH RIDE, TRACTOR RIDES, MOTHER HUBBARD'S KITCHEN, SHOT GUN CITY AND FORT APACHE.

Self, wife and youngest daughter have just been to vote. So we now await the results which could be interesting. There were 12 candidates on our voting form. Some of the parties I'd never heard of!
