Glorious Gordon - our PM
Just as an interesting aside, another article in the Yorkshire Post was looking at “10 reasons why things can only get worse for Brown.”
Under the heading MP’s Expenses it stated:-
It went almost unnoticed at the weekend that the PM has repaid a sum of money after breaching Commons rules and claiming expenses on two houses simultaneously.
As a man who talks about “Honesty” it was interesting to learn that he began his Friday briefing with the words “I am here to be totally candid.” Everyone knows he was not. He tried, and failed, to sack his Chancellor.
His obfuscation is greatly at odds with his so called moral compass. In Yorkshire there have been three different polls – Europe, North Yorkshire Council and Doncaster’s Mayoral contest. All three were run using different voting systems, and in all three Labour got a trouncing, which even surpassed John Major’s 1990 polls defeat.
Resilient and thick skinned he may be - I have to give credit where credit is due - but it seems to me that the question is not if he will go, but when will he go!

Things can only get better eh? Though not I suspect all the time Brown is at the helm with the odious creep Mandleson pulling the strings.
