Ilkley International Food Festival

A break from the tour of the Northumbrian Coastal Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty today! The reason being that the family spent the afternoon in Ilkley at the Ilkley International Food Festival, and as the weather was bright and sunny I took my camera along, so you could see some of the food on offer. The meats of the World stall (see immediately below) caught my eye - particularly the range of meats on sale!
This was the "Meats of the World" Stall - but would you really fancy some of the meats listed on the sign below?????

There was also alligator meat on sale too!

Polish Beer Garden
Polish Barbecue Sausage Stall

Italian Delight - Anyone for Paella
Olives - all colours

Noodle Bar

Fresh Japanese Cuisine - anyone for Butttered Octopus?

Checking the Hog Roast

German Sausage Stall

German Barbecue Sausages

Dried Fruits

Nuts

Breton Biscuits from France

More Breton Biscuits from France

Fancy a freshly cooked Curry?

There were also other French foods on offer - we all sampled some Crepes, which were delicious!

Tomorrow we explore the coastal town of Seahouses.
