It's Winter and the Snow is Back With Us Again!

For the last day or so the weather forecasters have been predicting that more snow would be on the way, but they couldn't be certain exactly whereabouts it would fall. Well I can tell them! It has fallen in Cottingley!

This was the view of my car this morning, out of the landing window.

There were signs of life on the drive. The footprints in the snow were a dead giveaway!

The car on next door's drive had a distinctly wintry look about it!

Once again March Cote Lane had taken on a Winter Wonderland look. It's surprising how the snow completely changes the look of a place.

By about 10.00 am the snow was coming down in a gentle manner, but it was obvious that it was settling. The view across the fields was beginning to become obscured by the falling snow.

The far horizon had become shrouded in a grey white blanket, which almost gave the appearence of fog!

Even the local blackbirds were on the lookout for any food they could find. This one was very quick to discover the bird seed on the bird table.

Don't forget to read Ruby's blog - it's the one below this one!
